The Wine Blokes
The Wine Blokes has changed its focus since its beginnings in early 2008. Rather than just being another wine blog, we now are solely focussed on the consumer, dedicated to bringing you the best deals and comparison service in the UK, and to a lesser extent the USA. Using our Deal and Comparison Service, you can find and rate the best wines at the best prices from our partnered retailers in the UK and USA.
When you find a deal on our blog or comparison service, you care directed to the deal in question, where you can choose to purchase or browse the wine retailers site some more.
Who are The Wine Blokes?
The Wine Blokes are a couple of guys who love wine, and have grass roots experience in the wine industry. They are passionate not only about wine but the processes, natural and nurtured, to produce great wine. The Wine Blokes have worked extensively throughout Australia in wine-making, viticultural and management roles at some of the best wineries in the land, as well as wine-making in various countries including France, Italy, USA, Chile, Argentina & Spain.
Jono Farrington:
Jono has been involved in the wine industry since he was quite young. His parents had a small vineyard and winery in the Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia, and spent plenty of school holidays working in the vineyard and winery. He completed a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Oenology) from the University of Adelaide (formely the Roseworthy Agricultural College). He also holds a Post Graduate Degree in Business Management from Monash University. His wine industry experience include working as a winemaker for Petaluma in the Adelaide Hills under the legendary Brian Croser. He was then sent to Smithbrook in the Pemberton region of Western Australia, then owned by Petaluma. He spent 6 years at Smithbrook managing the vineyard and winery, and during that time also completed a vintage at Chateau Carsin in Bordeaux. The two years leading into 2008, he traveled the world with his partner sampling the worlds best wines, and also fulfilling his other passion of equestrian competition.
Rob Scott
As a reformed lawyer, and co-owner of an online media business, Rob is one of The Wine Blokes who does not have a history specifically in the wine industry. However, Rob’s work is cut out ensuring all of the Wine Blokes’ various web projects are up and working correctly, as well as developing merchant relationships. Basically, Rob and his team run the background processes which allow the rest of The Wine Blokes to do what they do best: talk about wine!

How can I link or become a UK Partner Wine Store?
If you like, feel free to post your blogs current and past at Our Site. This will add some worldly flavor and give people an idea of what wine you suggest are drinkable. This in turn will direct more people to your site since your blogs after posting go directly to the front page. http://www.thewinespace.com/
Have a good day!

Hi blokes and blokette,
I’ve released a little ebook, 10 dishes with sangiovese. I am giving it away as a promo for my site Vinodiversity.com and as a teaser for my forthcoming book
Albarino to Zinfandel: food pairing for new varietal wines.
The ebook is available from . The catch is that you need to subscribe to Vinodiversity News to get access to the ebook.
You may like to add link to the page above for your visitors to get a copy, or if you contact me I’ll send an ecopy for a review
I just came across a “Swedish-language” version of your site (via Google of course). Please do the world a favor and take that site offline. It appears to have been produced by mechanical word-by-word lexical translation from the English original, except of course where the software threw up its hands and decided to leave the original word in there. A Swedish reader already fluent in English *may* be able to understand the resulting gibberish, but believe me, that reader would much rather read the original than let the translated version grate on their eyes.
The English version is interesting, though.
Hello!
I am writing this comment representing a group of 4 Portuguese students of Management who are doing their MSc thesis about wine, particularly Port Wine.
We would like to ask your help, sending, if is it possible, our survey about this kind of Wine to all of your UK contacts, clients, suppliers or mailing list. Your help will be crucial for us, since we really need answers from UK consumers. Logically, feel free to complete our survey, as we believe it will be very interesting to you.
The URL link for the survey is the following:

I am from South Africa and very interested in the Moldavian region. In addition to this, I also have a great contact for the manufacture of stainless steel wine tanks, if you are interested or know of someone that is interested. I see this as a route to visit your country and spend an extended holiday there. Please contact me, should you be interested.
Regards
Steven
