This Chardonnay hails from the Foot of Mount Buffalo, Devils Creek. Devils Creek itself is worth mentioning. The name comes from the locals who became exasperated by the creek disappearing and then welling up and supplying abundant water at other times. Hence the name, Devils Creek, it was as unreliable as the Devil himself. Oh! But not the wine that comes from there. This Chardonnay has a vibrant medium straw colour with a slight green tint. As you inhale the various aromas, you discover a hint of spicy oak and fruity melon. It is full flavoured and has a superb roundness. It is �to die for� when enjoyed with Thai Cuisine. My only worry was…if I have that last little bit, will this Chardonnay bring out the Devil in me? Mmmmh….
