Sensational 2007 is a late picked Botrytis Semillon from Limestone Creek Vineyard. Botrytis, or ‘noble rot’, concentrates the sweetness in the grapes, producing a viscous wine with a rich luscious taste. The wine was slowly fermented in oak barrels to provide a complexity of flavour. This wonderful dessert wine is suitable for medium term cellaring but is ‘sensational’ to drink now.
