‘TASTING NOTES Really ripe fruit mix, sumptuous plums, dark berries, redcurrant and dark cherry too, juicy vibrant and alive. The fragrant spicy character of this Shiraz has married well with subtle oak. Great for drinking on any occasion. WINEMAKING NOTES Back Label Shiraz is sourced entirely from the Adelaide Hills. The fruit was picked at night to minimize fruit damage from the sun, fermented on skins for 7 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine was aged French Oak Barriques. VINTAGE NOTES 2008 was a warmer vintage with a long heat spell at the latter part of the harvest. This fruit was picked just before this heat wave which resulted in clean natural acidity with riper characteristics. Alcohol: 14.5% Residual Sugar: 4.7 g/l Date of Bottling: 5th August 2009′
