‘TASTING NOTES This has all the hallmarks of top quality cool climate Australian Chardonnay. With classic peach and stone fruit flavours, fine crisp acidity and terrific balance, it is tailor-made for easy going drinking WINEMAKING NOTES This is an unoaked style of Chardonnay; the fruit was picked at night, chilled to 10, the juice separated and skins pressed. Bentonite fining and coarse earth filtering ensures a bright finish. VINTAGE NOTES 2008 was a warmer vintage with a long heat spell at the latter part of the harvest. This fruit was picked just before this heat wave which resulted in clean natural acidity with riper characteristics. Alcohol: 14.5% Residual Sugar: 0.27 g/l Date of Bottling: 17 March 2009′
