Deuchars at the Taste of Edinburgh Festival

The brewers on the Deuchars stand were great fun – chatting away and even giving The Wine Blokes two bottles of Double Dark to take away. You can currently only buy Deuchars online from the Caldeonian Brewery by clicking here – it is not yet in any of the big online retailers. On tap were Golden Promise (5%), Double Dark (4.6%) and Flying Dutchman (4.6%). Flying Dutchman is not commercially available, we managed to sample some of the limited edition at the stand. Golden Promise and Double Dark are both available year round in bottles but are seasonally on cask in September and November respectively.
