Harrods Offering Free Wine Tastings

If you happen to be passing through Knightsbridge, London, during the next week, you may get a very nice surprise upon inspecting the Harrods Wine Store – they are giving free wine tastings throughout the Christmas season! Go on more than one occasion and you will find a new spirit or wine on offer. Here’s the program of tastings:
Saturday 19th December
Coole Swan – Coole Swan is created from the highest quality, natural ingredients, carefully balanced to deliver a taste that is adored by sweet and savoury spirit lovers alike.
Akvinta – Akvinta is the first luxury Mediterranean vodka. It is made from premium ingredients, in the breathtaking valley of Imotski, Croatia; situated less than 30 miles from the clear shores of the Adriatic Sea.
Sunday 20th December
Prucia – Isake was created by the passion of a French Sommelier and a Japanese Saké expert to bring to a wider audience their discoveries of the finest Japanese Sakés. The Prucia is a new creation, and is a fusion of Japanese and French cultures.
Whyte & Mackay – Founded on the docks of Glasgow in 1844, Whyte & Mackay has remained true to itself and its founders’ pioneering spirit for over 160 years.
Monday 21st December
Taylors – Taylor’s is now over 300 years old. It is family run, completely independent, and still owned by relations of the founders.
Fonseca – Fonseca Guimaraens was founded in 1822, and remains one of the leading Port wine houses.
Tuesday 22nd December
Santa Rita – Dominigo Fernández, a distinguished and visionary businessman founded the Santa Rita winery in 1880. Modernisation of Santa Rita’s winemaking facilities and the continual expansion of its vineyards has kept this superior producer at the forefront of Chile’s luxury wine market ever since its inception.
Courvoisier – Courvoisier Cognac has hundreds of years of heritage and is the only house to have received the Prestige de la France – France’s highest award for excellence.
Wednesday 23rd December
