Lovely Bubbly at Taste of Edinburgh

Lovely Bubbly provide sparkling wine to the events industry, doing tastings, prizes and supplies. They source small producers who have no major presence in Britain and introduce their bubbles to the UK market. The Wine Blokes sampled the creamy, fruity Lancelot-Pienne Cuvée Rosé (£207.83 for 6 bottles = £69.27 per bottle) and the strong, meaty [...]

Next up on the taste buds was Kasteel Cru – a lager brewed in Alsace using champagne yeast to give it smaller bubbles and a lighter, sharper taste. The super cool lager served on a super hot day meant that Kasteel Cru was in its element and a hit with the crowd.

Served with a natural tonic favoured by Tom [...]

After at the Taste of Edinburgh Festival

After is a coffee, vanilla and caramel flavoured liqueur that is not currently available in UK stores. It works just the same way as Kahlua in cocktails, but has more vanilla and caramel tones. Anyone with a sweet tooth will love this and it can be poured straight over vanilla ice cream as a sauce. [...]
