No problem Josh. Even if we haven't got the wine we will still judge your review. Good Luck.

was just wondering how you actually enter the competition for wines that are not on the list?

I recently tried the Pewsey Vale Riesling from the Eden Valley. It was absolutely wonderful, from memory it was the '07 but I may be wrong on that, I didn't think to note that at the time.

The nose of this wine was very highly citrus with lively fresh lime and lemon, with a hint of soft talcum powder to soften the acid.

On the palate, the fruit again came through nicely and was at the front with a long lasting flavour, showing strong lemon, and citrus once more.

It was a lovely fresh Riesling with nicely balanced acidity which I have noticed isnt happening well in a few good wines at the moment. The acidity in this was however very fresh natural acid backing up the fruit and not the main feature.

This Eden Valley Riesling goes absolutely wonderful with Indian food, which is good because I tried it at an Indian Resturaunt.

Shame we can't enter! These prizes are worth having.

Reviews don't have to be stuffed full of big silly descriptions, and they don't even have to be favourable - just honest! So spend 2 minutes reviewing any wine you have big opinions about and you could get sent a really nice bottle - the prizes right now are signed by the winemaker, and could even be put away for a special occasion - or just drunk as soon as you like (our personal choice!). You will be able to choose red or white this month too.

More on the exact prize details later...
