This is a red wine that tastes of wine. Red wine, not that wine gums wine taste, but red wine, you know, the stuff your parents used to drink, and you grabbed a gulp of when no one was watching. My daughter didn’t so I guess the description isn’t perfect, but then again, she was always allowed to drink it if she wanted, and doesn’t particularly like the taste, then again neither do I, not that this isn’t a nice wine, it’s a red wine, if you like red wine. My Dad drank three litre bottles of some German stuff, Reisling from Nierstein in the Dom Tal, thats sweet, white and only tastes nice with steak in a Burnie Inn, with mushrooms, corn on the cob, chips after a prawn cocktail and if you are wearing a wide collared shirt with broad strips, and a burgundy suit with kipper tie.
This is a nice pretentious wine, it sells for a lot more than Nierstein so your friends will think you have class, even if you could buy Chateux Neuf Du Paoe in Aldi last thursday for the same price, or a bottle of Barolo for the same…….personally, I think 5 cartons of Tropicana Original or with extra juicy bits is nicer..for the same price.
